Welcome to Robert Stein Winery

With a family winegrowing lineage dating back to 1838 our vineyard, winery & farm have been lovingly planted & operated by our family since the first vines were planted in 1976.

Since 1976, we've proudly produced award-winning Australian reds, whites & fortified wines, while embracing a regenerative farming approach which we still live by today.

We are thrilled to announce our recognition as a James Halliday Wine Companion 5 underlined red star rated winery for 2026.

Innovation & tradition is at our core & we are constantly pushing the boundaries. Come experience the legacy of our family's labour in every sip & enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views of the Mudgee region, explore our vintage motorcycle display & indulge in wine tastings at our cellar door.

Don't miss the chance to experience our Stein Farm Produce food truck showcasing a true farm to plate experience available everyday.
